Canada’s imports of blankets and travelling rugs dropped by over 50 per cent quarter-on-quarter to $21.06 million in Q1 2025, down from $43.85 million in Q4 2024.
However, imports rose 9 per cent YoY.
Most imports originated from the Asia-Pacific region, with China accounting for 61.12 per cent of the total.
Despite seasonal fluctuations, 2024 saw a recovery in annual imports to $127.40 million.
